We are looking forward to meeting hundreds of students from schools across Australia as we begin the 2011-2012 Impact Student Leadership Conference Season.
On this webpage you will find links to two documents that we encourage you to use to promote your school's attendance at the Impact Student Leadership Conference in your local area. We do this for several reasons:-
- It creates a great community awareness of the schools commited to developing leaders.
- It may help your school in raising funds (sometimes a local service club will sponsor attendance at our events).
- This is a great way to let others in the community know about some of the opportunities the students at your school have been provided.
- It promotes Impact Leadership to the community.
Below you will find links to 2 documents relevant to your selected conference location.
1. A Pre-Conference Press Release
You may like to contact your local newspaper about the upcoming conference providing them with this document and encouraging their attendance at the event. Alternatively you may like to use this information as a way of informing the school community of the opportunity that has been provided for your student leaders in the area of Leadership Training.
2. A Post-Conference Press Release
Following the conference, we would encourage you to again let your local newspapers know about the success of this event. If you had a photo of your school group taken at the conference you could also provide the newspaper with this. Alternatively you may like to use this information for your school newsletter and include some of the experiences shared by the students on the day. At the conclusion of the conference, this document will be updated to include staff and student reviews of the day.
